Original transfer person's notes:

--"All editing and mastering has been done in 48khz before the entire show was converted to 44,1khz for recording on CDR and encoding to SHN. Both the remastered and the unadultered version had very low levels on both channels (about 35% on right channel and 23% on left), and there was a ticking sound in the left channel throughout side 2 of the tape. The levels has been normalized to 95% on each channel. To get rid of the ticking sound I used Sound Forge 6.0 and their Clicks and crackle removal tool. Experimented a lot of times with the settings before I was satisfied. I tried various possibilities to get Robert better in the mix, but did not succeed very much, I therefore decided to go with just one small little addition, I did a 25% noise reduction on the left channel, using Sound Forge 6.0. This kind of cleared it all up a bit. Ok, I also did a tiny bass-rise on the absolute lowest parts."

--"I do not know how the speed problems on Stairway and the start of WLL could have appeared. Since it resolves itself after about 2 minutes of WLL, I can't imagine that it was a battery problem. Probably some problem due to the aging of the tapes that were used."

--"And, at last, the long break from Dazed to Stairway is due to some problems with the organ-setup for John Paul. This was cut on the first version I received, but I have decided to keep it in there, just in case someone in the future manages to be a magican and make something out of it. I think it is something in there."

--"Some tapehiss throughout the complete show, but nothing really disturbing. Robert unfortunately a bit low in the mix. This means that Robert's between song chatter is barely audible. All in all a very enjoyable show despite the flaws mentioned."
