Another one of the really good shows from the 1970 European tour. Robert's voice is amazing as always in 1970 and the band plays some really intense music. Jimmy's quiet riff intro to Heartbreaker before leading the band in full force is quite dramatic and the not yet recorded Since I've Been Loving You is very passionate and intense. Dazed And Confused is very compact and played brilliantly, especially by Jimmy, whose playing is fast and fluid in front of the wall of rhythm created by Jones and Bonham. The How Many More Times medley is great and Robert leads the band through a pastiche of great oldies before closing the show with a great, 1970 pre-medley version of the sole encore Whole Lotta Love. What makes this recording so exciting it is a only known live rendition to Living Loving Maid. Just right after the last notes of Heartbreaker Plant segued into "With a purple umbrella ..." lyrics but shortly after he said: "I think we're all getting a bit loose!" We know he hated that one so this recording is so exciting for making listening to this song live!
